Good speech but it's just talks, they are protecting and employing those drugs barons themselves, maybe there is a new sheriff in town, the government is clearing the way for the sheriff or maybe it's just destruction

There is an urgent need to address alcohol addiction through a collective and holistic approach that prioritizes the control of counterfeit alcohol while also promoting responsible drinking. One major concern is the continued sale of fake alcohol in high-end establishments. Many consumers deliberately choose to drink responsibly, investing in well-known premium brands, only to be exposed to counterfeit liquor—often sold at prices three times higher than the normal retail cost.
Some of these individuals have consumed brands such as Johnnie Walker or Singleton for over 20 years without any adverse effects. Yet today, they find themselves unable to handle even two glasses, waking up unwell the following day, and in some cases requiring hospitalization. This strongly suggests a quality and safety issue rather than irresponsible consumption.
Unfortunately, some investors in these establishments appear indifferent to consumer feedback and focus mainly on one off cudtomers, despite the risks involved. Young adults, particularly those below 35 years, are the most affected, leading to health complications, reduced productivity, and broader social consequences. Many older patrons, out of experience and caution, have already withdrawn from such venues.
It is also worrying that the only commonly relied-upon verification method is scanning the KRA sticker, which is insufficient. In reality, the authenticity of the alcohol often becomes evident only after consumption—sometimes with severe consequences, including road accidents for those driving home or hospitalization to manage toxic reactions.
There is a clear need to strengthen quality assurance, enforcement, and security mechanisms across the alcohol supply chain to protect consumers. Addressing this menace requires collective responsibility from regulators, investors, vendors, and consumers alike. Alcohol addiction is not a deliberate choice for anyone, and safeguarding public health must remain a shared priority.
Focus on fighting corruption instead of drugs and narcotics.
Thank you CS Murkomen go for them just like you did with banditry we have lost so many friends and family members in drugs and alcohol.
Go for the big fish the suppliers and deal with them ruthlessly
Can I be invited to weigh in on this topic. I have been in the alcohol business for a substantive amount of time. The problem is not the demand side of things, which is the easy target for government security agencies. The biggest problem is the supply side of things, which is the hardest part to crack.
We have seen most clever people dying for addiction even some you as a people knew could have taken devolution of this country to greater heights
I support this but no one will take Murkomen seriously until they arrest the big dogs who we all know the individuals
Most foreigners are peddling and abusing drugs in broad daylight
