This topic hits close to home. I am a recovering alcoholic that self-medicated with alcohol mine being whiskey to treat my pain because you don't need a script for it it's accessible illegal thank you both 🙏 thank you Keith for representing .
I’m thinking this is one of the most intense topics requiring trust. My only experience with this situation was with my husband prior to his dx of trigeminal neuralgia + cancer. At the ER & Docs offices because he was passing out in pain. He was so proud of his sobriety that he would brag-I got my 5 year coin etc. I would cringe as I watched each & every time as the medical professionals demeanor flip & not touch him with a 10’ pole. It took a LOT to finally have tests for the Dx.
u are right there is always something to help him. 🙏🏻 he finds a doctor that can help him.
